Gone are the days where you could expect to see sensible debate on issues from Repubs & Dems.  Rather than discuss the issues, its sound bite moments attacking the messenger where every opposing view from the current administrations from federal to local are deemed “RACIST.” I suppose that when you have a candidate (and now president) that is so bad, so senile, so incompetent that he is literally indefensible, AND you steal an election; you just can’t allow reasonable discussions on the merits of any issue.

We are in an information war on multiple fronts with the Media, the educational institutions with their Critical Race THEORY, and radicalized political parties bent on eroding away the principles of freedom that made the prosperity of the U.S. possible. When money and control are the main focus of active political segments of the population rise in power, everyone loses, especially those with the greatest need.

Black communities continue to see crime rise in blue cities, despite the police being so afraid to do their job properly by basing their actions on merit and not skin color. Among the blocked topics are black-on-black crime and the failures of Democratic policies in Democratic strongholds. This is not a time of fronting the best solutions to solve a problem, this is who is more Woke, has the best narrative, and can blame ol’ Whitie best.

This is not the majority of the population of the U.S., these are just those who CURRENTLY have the tallest soapbox…for now. The Left has been right about one thing. Silence is the same as acceptance, and today everyone has a dog in the information fight whether they know it or not.

Democrats see themselves as engaged in a civil war with one-party rule as the goal.  No?  Read Democrat apologists Peter Leyden’s and Ruy Teixeira’s article, “The Great Lesson of California in America’s New Civil War.”  For Leyden and Teixeira, it’s a zero-sum game.

The best way to understand politics in America today is to reframe it as closer to civil war. Just the phrase “civil war” is harsh, and many people may cringe. It brings up images of guns and death, the bodies of Union and Confederate soldiers.

America today is nowhere near that level of conflict or at risk of such violence. However, America today does exhibit some of the core elements that move a society from what normally is the process of working out political differences toward the slippery slope of civil war. We’ve seen it in many societies in many previous historical eras, including what happened in the United States in 1860.
