Mexican Drug Cartels Make More Money From Human Trafficking Than From Drugs
The Biden Administration and the BigMedia have done their best to hide the fact that the southern U.S. border is in a full blown crisis of historic proportions. According to estimates from Customs & Border Protection, human traffickers have raked in a total of $411.5 million in February shuffling people from Mexico and Central America across the southern U.S. border. That estimate breaks down to an average of $14.7 million PER DAY in February.
Rather than address the rape chains of women and children being trafficked across the border, the Biden Administration focuses more on housing those migrants by signing an $86 million contract with a non-profit. This is the equivalent of getting more buckets to empty the water in a leaking boat, rather than addressing the actual leak in the boat.
In March the U.S. Customs & Border Protection reported more than 172,000 persons attempting entry into the U.S. at the southern border.
In March 2021, CBP encountered more than 172,000 persons attempting entry along the Southwest border. This total represented a 71 percent increase over February 2021.
The number of encounters at the border has been rising since April 2020 due to reasons which include violence, natural disasters, food insecurity, and poverty in Mexico and the Northern Triangle countries of Central America. This fiscal year CBP has already had over 569,800 encounters. This represents an increase of 24 percent from the total encounters we had during all of Fiscal Year 2020, when migration was limited by the COVID-19 pandemic, and an increase of over 34 percent from approximately the same time frame of Fiscal Year 2019.
Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Orbrador states that it was President Biden’s policies have created an open door rush for the U.S. southern border through Mexico. Also not widely known 48.9% of surveyed Mexicans were in favor of blocking the entrance to migrant caravans because it leads to an increase in crime. Even Mexicans recognize that the open border of the southern U.S. puts children at risk to smugglers and human traffickers, yet somehow the Biden Administration does not see this.
As the Mexican cartel pipeline of smuggling drugs has become more challenged, Mexico’s financial intelligence unit (UIF) stated that many cartels are mutating to shift from drugs to human trafficking. Head of the unit, Santiago Nieto describes it, “When one possibility ends … they start to link up with other kinds of criminal activities.” Human trafficking has now become a $150 million a year business, and that estimation was from 2020. With President Biden opening the flood gates of the southern U.S. border, that number is most likely climbing…fast.
